I had such a great night last Friday at the Albert Hall in Manchester.
I was commissioned to shoot Marco Carola and took a strong set of images documenting the night.
Unfortunately, the following day I tried importing the images and nothing was happening. My memory card had become corrupt. This had happened once before several years ago and had already purchased some high end recovery software.
Two days of scanning and still nothing…
Luckily, somehow, my Mac had rendered previews of all images off the corrupted card. Therefore I was left with a good hundred low quality images. My only way forward was to print screen and export.
This was shooting with a one year old Sandisk 32gb Extreme – Compact Flash. ALWAYS CARRY A BACKUP! I’ve learnt my lesson the hard way.
